chuck_girl
is it impossible for women to get six packs like men without steroids? Are they just meant to have firms abs w/o the pack? I know this is a wierd question, but there are quite a few women martial artists on this site.

chuck_girl
tru dat. I only have flat abs, and they look good, but no six pack. Yes, genetically freakish women and steroid addicts.
IAMA_chick
i think it is possible, but it is very hard to get them. women usually get the line down the middle and things before guys though. Tae Kwon Do15-years oldpurple--belt

glingglo
i think it's harder for women to get the six pack because no matter how much we build those muscles, we have to get rid of the fat in order to see them. and most women are going to have a layer of fat there. men can bring their body fat percentage lower than women can. there's a risk of screwing up our mentsrual cycles if we don't have enough body fat. a good friend of mine is a cross country runner and a gymnast and she has the lowest body fat percentage of any woman i've ever known. she has a six-pack, but she also has no boobs and no periods!
