Does anyone know if there is a martial arts search engine or something that I could use to find places around me? A database that has reviews of some of these places would also be useful. If not, any suggestions in the quadcities area of Iowa?

https://www.martialinfo.com This one is useful because you can look up a school, then reseach the style. Just click the above link, then click on "Looking for a school near you" link on the left. Then the state, then town (or near by town).

http://www.bushido.us/schools.cfm Just click on the link, then type in your town and zip. It also has a style directory.

Martial Info has a link for schools outside the US. Click on the "Looking for a school near you" link. When the map pops up, scroll to the bottom. It says "other countries." Try it. It might help
