It turns my stomach to see people in the middle east celebrating these attacks. Their entire country should be wiped off the face of the earth. They should all burn in hell. babysteffee Posted September 11, 2001 Share Posted September 11, 2001 The World Trade Centres collapsed because the heat from the explosion (said to have been 150 degrees C) was hot enough to soften the metal structures of the Centres, thereby making them not strong enough to support the buildings.
