Martial_Artist Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 makes no difference to me. I didn't run around looking for a MA woman when I did the dating thing. I just found my way to my wife. These things work out. You don't have to put a litmus test on the woman you're looking for. Your MA does not define who you are, it is an addition to who you are. It helps you become a better person, it doesn't define your person.Anybody can have a healthy attitude towards being fit without training in the martial arts. That's a choice made for lifestyle. Even many martial artists are in poor health because of the life they live outside the dojo.It didn't matter to me. I looked for someone I felt happy with. Someone that brightened my days. Someone I could talk about anything and be myself. And she found me. I couldn't honestly ask for anything more. y2_sub Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 I guess from the number of posts on this thread , we all like chicks who are martial artists , or at least 99% do Moon might shine upon the innocent and the guilty alike
Adonis Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 martail artist good post. You have a point I don't go out pacificaly looking for women who do martial arts to date them. But if I meet a good women I connect with her staying in shape and into martial arts is an added plus because we share the same interest. I do have to admit martial artist was very ccrrect in his post. I seen alot of women and men who were in poor condtion becaue of unheahtly life styles they lead. We all seen the masters and high degree black belts with the Huge guts on them.

monkeygirl Posted July 15, 2005 Posted July 15, 2005 Have I posted on here before? Can't remember.BAH I'll go ahead anyway.I look at it this way:There are great MA guys, and there are terrible MA guys. Since I'm a martial artist, it's cool to have something so important to me in common with someone I could care about. But if the guy is a jerk, I'm not gonna care.As for the receiving end..When I was in training, I was one of two teenage girls in a dojo full of teenage boys, so I got lots of attention. Then I left the dojo and went to a private school. Thanks to a proud mother, people were kind of aware that I am a black belt. I don't know what effect that had, but let's just say I never had a boyfriend during those two years. 1st dan & Asst. Instructor TKD 2000-2003No matter the tune...if you can rock it, rock it hard.
Kajukenbopr Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 Hell, yeah! I think a girl who can look good to me and can kick my butt is sexy did that sound too much like a masochist? I love it. I had a friend who I didnt really pay much attention to, and after she told me she practiced kenpo we started talking a lot and I ended up liking her for a while. <> Be humble, train hard, fight dirty
