devilthaiboxer Posted April 24, 2003 Posted April 24, 2003 is it true that if you bend your legs more than 90 degrees when stretching or exercising it damages your knees or am I just being gullible .Im not sure because iv read a few internet sources that say it does damage knees but in lessons we often do stuff involving bending more than 90 degrees.thank ya I'd quote bruce lee but to me he's just another person who got lucky

glingglo Posted April 24, 2003 Posted April 24, 2003 for stretching, i think you're fine. but if you're lifting weights or doing squats, i'd stick with the 90 degree rule. you don't want to strain your joints when you really mean to be working your muscles.
