Nick117 Posted April 17, 2003 Posted April 17, 2003 I have really week wrists. After a few punches my wrists hurt very bad. Is there any way I can make them stronger? Thanks.
hurley bird Posted April 17, 2003 Posted April 17, 2003 get some sort of pole... attach a string on the middle, put a weight on the string, and then "curl" the weight up and down the pole with your wrists. The_Ryno Posted April 20, 2003 Posted April 20, 2003 Better yet, take that same device, and twist your wrists, winding the cord around the pole. works your wrists and forearms. If you don't have the mechanical ability to make one yourself. Ringside sells them. "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog."
SaiFightsMS Posted April 20, 2003 Posted April 20, 2003 Start with a simple squeeze ball. Something that is really simple and very effective is to close your hands into fists. Then open your hands and spread your fingers. Start with slow and gentle movements. Then gradually increase the intensity. And do not expect overnight results from any type of strenght activity in this area. Also hold your arms out in front of you with the palms down and your elbows bent so that your arms are just above waist level while seated. Then just rotate your arms from the elbow down so that your plams face the ceiling.
