kchenault
TKD with some rule changes could be very exciting. The poll dosn't work BTW. I vote TKD. Ken ChenaultTFT - It does a body good!

karate_woman
I am disapointed that karate is not shown on tv during the olympics. Karate isn't shown on tv in the olympics because karate is not an olympic sport! I think it should be though. Karate will be an Olympic Sport next Olympics. (Yay!) I look forward to watching karate in the next Olympics. Previously, I've watched and enjoyed both Judo and Boxing. I would have been interested in catching a TKD match too, though, which I understand are spectacular to watch. dtstiachi
I guess TKD. I have never seen judo live. "The journey of a 1,000 miles starts with but a single step."
Kicks
I think TKD has the potential to be a very exciting, if not the most exciting Olympic MA event. They just need to encourage, or enforce, more action and less 'jocking around". If you watched the events this year you would have noticed the referee banging his fist together. That's a signal to the players to do something or face getting a warning penalty. I think they currently fight 3 rounds of 3 minutes each. Maybe if the rounds were only 2 minutes the players would have to get their points in a shorter time, thus more action. The word I heard is that WTF is going to allow 3 points for flying kicks to the head. I guess they will still keep the extra point given for a knock down that results in a standing 8 count. That would give the attacker 4 points for 1 kick. Here's a video clip of a knockout at the 2004 Olympics:http://www.livaudaisnet.com/mafit/videos/OlympicKnockOut.gif when you create the world's largest trailer park, you're going to have tornadoes
Slydermv
*drools seeing the clip*Man that's nice....And I agree... TKD will be with a few rule changes allowing more points for higher level techniques...It's a little too much of this front leg turning kick staying safe garbage at the moment... but that spin hook was nicccceeee....!And people say TKD is ineffective...Tell that to those olympic guys... heheh... aefibird
Nice clip. Who are the two players?I'd vote either TKD or Judo, although I do think that one judoka should wear a blue gi and one judoka wear a white gi - it might make it a bit easier to see on a TV screen what was happening.Does Olympic TKD score for hand techniques (or are they planning on introducing such a rule if it's not in place?) Slydermv
Hand techniques to the torso are allowed, not to the face or head... but in speaking with my master, and from watching a few olympic matches... they rarely, if ever, score points....
