ckdstudent Posted July 31, 2002 Posted July 31, 2002 I study Choi Kwang Do, I'm never sure whether or not it could be classified as a Korean style, or if its more an international style with a handful of Korean military traditions. ---------Pil SungJimmy B
omnifinite Posted August 8, 2002 Posted August 8, 2002 Anyone ever been to Korea? My family is military and we ended up living in Seoul for 2 years. That's where I got my belt (training 5 days a week). I was pretty young though, so I wouldn't say I'm using a Korean style now, because I've moved on to other things. 1st Dan HapkidoColored belts in Kempo and Jujitsu

HRDMIKE Posted January 23, 2003 Posted January 23, 2003 Hi all, I studied Hapkido all through high school and loved it. I am just getting back into martial arts seriously after almost 10 years. I am now studying Hwa Rang Do and love it. I really like the korean arts. It just appeals to me more than the other arts for some reason.
