hobz
When I was bodybuilding hardcore, Id bring many things to school that I could consume inbetween classes. Sandwhichs take a whole 1 minute to eat if you eat them on the go, I can't see why it isnt possible to eat them between classes. Carrots, Bars, Bananas, Juices. Really if you think about it, Eating your Breakfast at around maybe 6:45 - 7:30, then around 10:00 - 10:30, have a tuna sandwhich, or some carrots, or a carb bar or something. Then you eat your lunch at 12 or so, then you eat when you get home, then you have supper. Rule #1: Play the game to the limit. Damn the consequences. I have to sit at the front of the class because I'm hearing impaired, so the teacher woudl definatley see me. White Belt- Shudokan Karate
hobz
Maybe you could talk to the teacher, some of my teachers didn't mind, also, you don't have a short break inbetween classes to maybe scarf something down real quick? I know it's tough to go to your locker, get the food out, proceed to scarf the food down, get your books, walk to the next class, and be there on time; but If any teachers give you grief, Id talk to them about how it's proven by most Dieticians, that it's healthier to be eating 5-6 small meals a day, then to have 3 big ones. Mainly because by the time a meal comes around, your body is already "starving" and your metabolism is beggining to slow down. I put starving in quotations cause this is not quite the case, but its in the early stages. The increase in carbs sends your insulin levels WAY out of whack, and you will see changes. I'd suggest going to http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/bbmainnut.htm and reading up, knowledge is power my friend Rule #1: Play the game to the limit. Damn the consequences. We have a so-called 4 minute break but unforutnatley the halls are so packed with stupid people in there not gettin gout of your way that your always late, and we dont' have lockers either. BigGuy
The only way you are going to lose weight is if you really want to. You dont seem to want to. People on here have given you some pretty good suggestions, but you always seem to have an excuse in why you cant do that. There is always a way to do things. Just figure it out. They have told you what you need to do. YOU need to figure out how to fit it into your schedule and your current sitituation. Make up your mind that your going to do it. DO IT! Live a happy life. I appologize if I sounded confrontational in this post it was not my intention. Thanks, BG BigGuy

Thanks, BGNo serioulsy I've thought of a lot of these things before but the problem is I need a diet that will fit with my schedule. Like one that dosn't involve eating at school because I just can't do that. White Belt- Shudokan Karate
nathanjusko
Well then you're just not going to lose weight that quickly because you are so ready to call it quits. Use bars such as carb solutions or some other stuff and eat them slowly throughout the day (i.e tear off 1/4 of the bar and eat it just before class or something). Stop coming up with excuses as to why it won't work. The only way you're going to lose weight is this 1)Eat 5-6 small meals a day spread over even hourly intervals 2)Eat fewer amounts of sugars and saturated fats 3)Increase your amount of protein in your diet 4)Find your Basal Metabolic Rate and burn more calories than you ingest. I cannot stress eating enough protein when you are on a diet, you should never skimp on the protein. Cut out carbs and fats if you wish, but you do not want to lose muscle along with the fat and eating a higher percentage of protein is the way to retain calorie burning muslce while losing fat.
