BKJ1216 Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 Yeah well I can't understand what it means be 16-18 hours after the last meal. I know mathmatically that's one meal everyday but it seems like two if you wake up at say 5 and eath then undereat the rest of the day and then eat at say 9 and undereat till 5. KickChick Posted March 31, 2003 Posted March 31, 2003 huh??? Don;t understand what you're referring to... do you mean 16 hours after last meal of the day until you ingest your next meal (which would be breakfast??)..... http://www.tcwozere.co.uk/~cracks/contrib/constrector/eatchicken.gif
BKJ1216 Posted March 31, 2003 Author Posted March 31, 2003 No the warrior diet thing. I think it got cut off from the title. It says that your supose to undereat for 16-18 hours after your last meal and then I guess do the over eating thing. But I do'nt know if i'd be able to do that cause of school. BKJ1216 Posted March 31, 2003 Author Posted March 31, 2003 "Moreover, an integral componet of the "Undereating Phase" of the Warrior Diet is that it shoudl be done while you are awake" "The Undereating Phase is built on the principle of controlled fasting. It lasts for 16-18 hours after your last meal, including time you are asleep" it's very hard to understand because he says you shoudl do it while your awake but you have to sleep sometime of the day I just can't understand how the whole undereating part of it is suposed to work. Like when to start and stop. And if your supsed to do the overeating right after the undereating or what. White Belt- Shudokan Karate
KickChick Posted March 31, 2003 Posted March 31, 2003 Main reason why I don't personally "diet" .... they just don't make sense!!!! Eat sensibly when you are hungry... put the fork down when you're full and exercise!! Now that makes sense!!
BKJ1216 Posted March 31, 2003 Author Posted March 31, 2003 Not really that's what I do now. I haven't lost any weight, plus I need a diet to dictact what I eat because honestly I'm just not a good judge on my own. White Belt- Shudokan Karate
SaiFightsMS Posted March 31, 2003 Posted March 31, 2003 Try keeping a log of what you put into your mouth. Put everything on it. Remember that regular soda has calories.
KickChick Posted April 1, 2003 Posted April 1, 2003 OK I sent over some info on the Warrior Diet to you ... but in all honesty, I really don't think that particular diet is realistic for you at this time. I will do SaiFightsMS one better on that suggestion of hers .... I have this nifty little item calle the Diet Coach (I suppose you can also get PDA software that will do almost the same thing if you have one). Now everyone here knows I hate the word DIET or what it means ... but I use this to track what I eat.... protein, carbs, fats and total calories. http://www.swankliving.com/ I love this nutritional calculator!! not pricey either!!
BKJ1216 Posted April 1, 2003 Author Posted April 1, 2003 Well I don't have any more money, I spent the money that I earned over the last month to buy the Warrior Diet book. I was thinking about testing the Warrior Diet over a period of a month and see how it worked out. If I liked the way I felt and happy with the results I may get I'll probably keep with it. Otherwise I'll count calories or search for a different diet plan. White Belt- Shudokan Karate
WolverineGuy Posted April 2, 2003 Posted April 2, 2003 There's a lot to be said for just cutting out fast food and drinking lots of water. After that, working out takes care of the rest. Its not universal, but it certainly can't hurt. Wolverine1st Dan - Kalkinodo"Shut up brain, or I'll stab you with a q-tip""There is no spoon."
