Patrick Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 Hello. Our players are: ZeRo kchenault monkeygirl KickChick LeaF Individual Challenge 3 (6 Overall): MA Translation This challenge was submitted by KSN Doug. There may be minor descrepancies with the translations and/or terminology within an MA school. Basically, you will say what the word means in English. You may not use the web to help you or ask anyone or consult a book, or anything of that nature. You must use your best guesses. Going against that rule only cheapens the game for yourself. Here are the options: 1. chong (Chinese) 2. dasot (Korean) 3. ashige (Japanese) 4. ap (Korean) 5. shuai (Chinese) 6. kuroobi (Japanese) 7. makgi (Korean) 8. chan (Chinese) 9. supaaringu (Japanese) 10. kyong ye (Korean) Answers: meditation five block sparring throwing black belt front punch bow kick Make your answer like this: 0. Answer. Please submit your answers by sending them via private message to: http://www.karateforums.com/privmsg.php?mode=post&u=745 The deadline is Tuesday at 10 PM CST. Thank you and good luck. LeaF Posted April 1, 2003 Posted April 1, 2003 I was unfamiliar with alot of there terms but I'm hoping my guesses will hold Goju Ryu Karate-do and Okinawan Kobudo, 17 Years Old 1st kyu Brown Belt in in Goju Ryu Karate-do, & Shodan in Okinawan KobudoGiven enough time, any man may master the physical. With enough knowledge, any man may become wise. It is the true warrior who can master both....and surpass the result.I AM CANADIAN

SaiFightsMS Posted April 2, 2003 Posted April 2, 2003 At least that wasn't such a killer challange like the last one turned out to be. I must admit I still feel a bit odd about creating a challange that people could not get any of the answers correct. This is a learning experience you know. Playing is completely different that trying to create a challange.
Patrick Posted April 2, 2003 Author Posted April 2, 2003 The vote has been cancelled. With the revoking of KickChick's membership, I have decided that the best way to continue this Survivor is to take her out and move on to the next challenge. It will be posted in the next couple of days. Patrick O'Keefe - KarateForums.com AdministratorHave a suggestion or a bit of feedback relating to KarateForums.com?
