DokterVet Posted March 28, 2003 Author Posted March 28, 2003 Boo-urns, I just weighed my bag and it only weighs 55 pounds. Oh well, I've had it since I was 11, so I couldn't be expected to need a huge one back then. How much would a 75lb bag cost? 22 years oldShootwrestlingFormerly Wado-Kai Karate
jiu-jitsu fighter Posted March 28, 2003 Posted March 28, 2003 I paid 100$ canadian for my 75 pound bag, thats about 60 to 70$ bucks U.S. I sometimes do full contact, with mixed martial arts gloves on (fingerless and 6oz or 4oz). good for you, but definately not for everyone. DokterVet Posted March 28, 2003 Author Posted March 28, 2003 That's cool. I'm Canadian BTW. I might try to pick up a heavier one. How much padding do the MMA gloves provide? I've seen people wear them but never tried them myself. 22 years oldShootwrestlingFormerly Wado-Kai Karate
Iron Fist 05 Posted March 29, 2003 Posted March 29, 2003 I found a video online @ martialartslive.com that has a video about really conditioning your body. It is some pretty extreme stuff. You have to see the pic on the front of the video cover. I bought it , but it hasn't came in yet, otherwise, i would tell you if it was good enough. Tobias_Reece Posted March 29, 2003 Posted March 29, 2003 1) get a good facial scrub (body shop) and use daily 2) Spend some money on a decent moisturiser such as Oil of Ulay etc. 3) Use a facial cleanser such as Oxy10 to remove spots 4) Smoke and drink less as this affects your skin too Sounds like 'American Psycho' to me.........."My name is Patrick Bateman" "You Are Never Given A Dream Without Also Being Given The Power To Make It True. fungku Posted March 29, 2003 Posted March 29, 2003 You can always get the cartilidge (sp?) removed from your nose. A guy I know did that. I'd think it would stop your eyes from watering when someone hits you square in the nose.
