IAMA_chick Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 i was wondering if any of you know any stretches that could help my flexibility? i am 5'4 and my front kick is about 5'6 but i want to be more flexible. i am 1'' away from th side splits( one leg in front of the other) and approx. 7'' or so away from the front splits. craknek Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 Hmmm.. the normal stretches your doing aren't making you flexible? Teh ones that your instructor showed you? If they are not, maybe your not stretching enough. When you stretch, do you stretch till the point that its uncomfortable... almost..ALMOST painful. I say almost, because if it did feel like full blown pain, then you probably tore something. Do you stretch after you train and workout? IAMA_chick Posted March 26, 2003 Author Posted March 26, 2003 i stretch alot. i stretch before and after class and on my own sometimes. i haven't tore anything but my hip does hurt a lot when i do side kicks and things. and yeah, it almost hurts when i stretch but is not painful.
