hobz Posted March 23, 2003 Posted March 23, 2003 Hello! I recently signed up for Karate, and I want to be as traditional as possible. There for I want to start disciplining my mind and meditating. I'm wondering how I can learn about the two? Rule #1: Play the game to the limit. Damn the consequences.
BKJ1216 Posted March 23, 2003 Posted March 23, 2003 Buy the book "Ki In Daily Life" it should teach you how to meditate. Otherwise contact Jerry Love, he might be able to find a teacher near you, he's a pretty helpful guy. White Belt- Shudokan Karate
dark_adjudication Posted March 23, 2003 Posted March 23, 2003 Get the book "Path Notes of an American Ninja Master" by Glen Morris. When you read the book you will be able to tell that Glen did too many drugs when he was young but he knows his stuff. Good meditation techniques. "There is only one tactical principle which is not subject to change; it is, 'To use the means at hand to inflict the maximum amount of wounds, death, and destruction on the enemy in the minimum amount of time.'
