Tombstone Posted February 20, 2003 Posted February 20, 2003 I had a friend tape one of my fights so I could finally see myself in action. When I'm usually watching a fight I get really involved and usually think of what I'd probably do in that situation. When I was watching my fight later that night it felt really weird. I don't think of myself as being a scary person but when I saw me on the tape I looked intimidating. All through the fight I was still having the "I'd probably do this" thoughts. The weirdest part was that I was actually doing it. It seemed as if I was controlling the tape all the way through . I learned alot about myself by watching that tape. I learned that I fight the way I think if that makes any sense. Anyone have any experiences like that? P.S. I had an outstanding victory so everyone I know is going to watch this video
yellowsnow Posted February 20, 2003 Posted February 20, 2003 what kind of fight was it? full contact? pads etc?? just curious... YS
MuayThai Fighter Posted February 20, 2003 Posted February 20, 2003 I had a friend tape one of my fights so I could finally see myself in action. Anyone have any experiences like that? P I learned alot about myself by watching that tape. I learned that I fight the way I think if that makes any sense. Anyone have any experiences like that? My school has all my fights on tape, but I haven't watched them yet,I will as soon as I get a vcr.It will be a good way to learn from my mistakes, because everyone makes a few mistakes whether they realize it or not. There's always room for improvement. The weirdest thing is everyone in my school has seen my fights, yet I haven't even seen my own fights. You fight the way you feel, well I fight in the ring the way I have to survive when fighting people bigger then me,and the way I'd fight on the street except with with rules .LOL Okay seriously I know what you mean. You've got to fight how you feel,it's got to come from inside you.It takes more then just being a good fighter or being tough although that is very important too,but it mostly has to come from the heart. I fight full contact since I'm a muay thai fighter as you can tell by my username.

Looneyas Posted February 26, 2003 Posted February 26, 2003 convert the VHS format into DVD then u can upload to a web site for downloading. Learn and u shall TeachTeach and you shall learn,https://www.southpacifictkd.com.au
crash Posted February 26, 2003 Posted February 26, 2003 if your computer is capable of burning dvd's, you can buy an adapter from places such as circuit city, best buy's..etc... that will allow you to connect your v.c.r or camcorder to your comp. through a usb port and burn any tape on to dvd. these adapters usually come with some sweet editing software also, so you can add music, effects and such, you can actually make a pretty cool movie.
electric_monk Posted February 26, 2003 Posted February 26, 2003 I fight full contact by the way. I would love to put it on the internet but I dont know how. if you are at school, your film and tv department should be able to video capture it and encode it to MPEG for you. from there you just need to find a free webhost that offers a large amount of space (50mb should cover it) and upload it.
