sensei8 Posted Sunday at 01:48 PM Posted Sunday at 01:48 PM Craziest thing I’ve ever seen. I wonder just how damaging is inflicted because they’re not just whistling Dixie. That’s if we’re talking about the same thing. **Proof is on the floor!!!

I'm also guessing whoever came up with the idea had some brain damage. I personally have no use for it, but there are a lot of people who are paying attention to it.
sensei8 Posted Monday at 01:58 PM Posted Monday at 01:58 PM (edited) Quote I suppose that people are interested/curious about Power Slap like people that are interested/curious about a car crash; just have to see the crash as ones driving by. Maybe car crashing is a future sport. Now they have these self-driving cars, maybe there will be a competition to see whose car has less damage when AI has them smash into each other. You can get the damage and the fires of a car crash without anyone being hurt. Is this where sports will be ten years from now? Wouldn't surprise me.
bushido_man96 Posted Thursday at 02:55 AM Posted Thursday at 02:55 AM I think it's a sport that got it's start in a bar. This kind of tough guy test has been around for thousands of years in one form or another. Now this one has sponsorship. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
Nidan Melbourne Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago I do find it fascinating to watch BUT that much force is concussive. Doesn't matter if the person blacks out or not, as it is similar to a car crash many ways. Unfortunately for a lot of activities like this, may not present itself for a long time. In the science world we don't know the true impact between Brain Trauma and Contact Sports, as research only really happens after ones death (even then fewer donated to research). Even in the MA community, we can't be 100% sure of ones behaviour is because of either trauma or ones actual self. So forgetfulnes for example it is hard to say what is occurring.
DarthPenguin Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I've never watched it but it has always struck me as needlessly dangerous tbh. The fact you can't defend yourself and just take the blow will just lead to injury. I recently saw another similar 'sport' involving leg kicks which also struck me as crazy but at least it doesn't have the same concussion potential!
sensei8 Posted 46 minutes ago Posted 46 minutes ago Possible brain damage come to my mind especially with repeated blows. DP says it well… 12 hours ago, DarthPenguin said: it has always struck me as needlessly dangerous tbh **Proof is on the floor!!!
