Usually if you go to a beginners' course, you'll get fit there. If you are really out of shape (like you just woke up from coma or something), basic jogging will do, add some pushups, situps etc.

yeh im not out of shape just I was wondering if there were any special excersizes that helped like maybe wrist strength or kicking strength.. like one i found where you do pushups with your knuckles.. i think its for wrists not sure though..

When you start training, the instructor will include applicaple exercises to the classes. Just make mental notes and do the same stuff at home too. You don't need to train them before you go to the beginners' class.
