October 21, 20241 yr I'm looking forward to it. I never watched anything tied to the Karate Kid franchise until the Cobra Kai series was brought to Netflix, but now I am hooked. The poster and first Trailor have been released. It will be the aftermath of Cobra Kai, which means the final five episodes of CK will have to be before then. I did that math on my own! This is cool. Is the movie to be released in theaters, or will it be a Netflix exclusive? https://www.haysgym.com http://www.sunyis.com/ https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
October 23, 20241 yr Looking at its official movie poster at the very bottom it reads... "Exclusively In Movie Theaters MAY 30", if that's any indication. Makes sense that Karate Kids: Legends is a full-blown movie release just like The Karate Kid (2010 Film) was. Karate Kid: Legends is being released by Sony Pictures. **Proof is on the floor!!!
October 28, 20241 yr Author Rumors about a Cobra Kai spin off happening after the movie, possibly a prequel to the Karate Kid movies featuring Mr. Miyagi.
October 28, 20241 yr That'd be interesting, too. https://www.haysgym.com http://www.sunyis.com/ https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
October 31, 20241 yr Featuring Mr. Miyagi?? I wonder how they'd do that?? Hopefully not like it was done for Game of Death with inserting various pictures or scenes of Bruce Lee; that way was so, well, cheap. **Proof is on the floor!!!

I've read that the Coba Kai series won't be considered canon in this movie. Did that change?

It would probably be done early in Miyagi's life, so they'd recast someone to play a young Mr. Myagi. https://www.haysgym.com http://www.sunyis.com/ https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

That method escaped me totally. Makes a ton of sense. Thanks for pointing that out, Brian. **Proof is on the floor!!!
