It will happen. Too much money on the line. Still looking forward to this.

Too bad they are using the heavier gloves. Paul is usually smart about choosing opponents. This might be another smart move by him. I hate to see it, though.

I'm rooting for Tyson, but I say Paul takes this.  But if Paul doesn't pull this off, this needs to be his last fight.

Friday, November 15, 2024, is the new date for the Tyson VS Paul fight at Texas’s AT&T Stadium. Still, that's 5 months away and a lot can happen in 5 months.

We'll see what we see as the fight gets closer.

Less than a week until this fight.  Any final thoughts?

Countdown: Paul vs Tyson is a 3-episode documentary on Netflix. I still pick Tyson to win over Paul...just as long as Tyson doesn't get cocky.

I'll get the wings and diet soda to enjoy during the fight. Last time I did that, many, many years ago, Tyson knocked out his opponent in the 1st round: I lost money...$50 for the PPV and $25 for the food and drinks. 1st round knockout?? That was then, this is now, but my monies on Tyson.

:)

Sounds like a great meal plan to me.  This will be my first time watching a live boxing match.

Mike Tyson SLAPS Jake Paul during the face off the night before the fight.  Tyson had a scary look in his eye while Paul laughed it off, called it "cute" and screamed "it's personal now, he must die."

:dead:

The face-off at their weighing was quite humorous. Supposedly, Paul stepped on Tyson's sock-covered right foot while wearing tennis shoes, as to the reason why Tyson slapped Paul. Like I said, quite humorous. Funny thing I read this morning was that both fighters will be suspended, ahem, "rest periods", right after their fight. These "rest periods" seem to be mandatory in the boxing world, but not always.

Boxing fighters are suspended after a fight based on the regulations. Each fighter is told to rest for three days for every round fought. If a fighter loses by TKO, they will be suspended for a maximum of 30 days. If the fight ends in a knockout, the beaten fighter will be medically suspended for at least 60 days.

Look, I am going to just come out and say it, I am changing my prediction, and I think Jake Paul will win.  I hope I am wrong.
