I haven't gotten it yet! I'm hoping to be able to on Wednesday, but that price tag is killing me!

It isn't cheap but i think it's worth it - is a lot bigger than diablo 3 and i think plenty of replay value etc.

I was finally able to get the game! I'm playing through as a Necromancer for my first playthrough. I'm trying to figure out if I want to do seasonal content. Is anyone playing Season 1?

How you finding the necro? I had heard that they are pretty overpowered!

Not had a huge amount of time to play so not finished the campaign yet with either my sorc or barb so not tried season (you need to finish campaign first)

I haven't finished the campaign yet, and I've been reading a lit recently and have put video games on the back burner. That said, I'm having a lot of fun with it! It is pretty powerful, but I would say that it's overly powered. You can definitely play it incorrectly and die quickly lol.

I've been playing a bit here and there. In fact, I just finished the campaign for Season 1 with a Barbarian. I found that if you go through and do the reknown grind enough that you hit all the altars of lilith and explore all of the areas, it'll give you quite a boost on a new character in a Season character. (It's like +80 to all stats and 5 extra skill points). You will still have to do a fair bit of grinding to get those last 5 skill points, but you'll speed through the campaign quickly enough that you'll need to pause a few times to get your level up to hit the recommended minimum level for certain areas. For example, trying the Burning Hells at level 38 is just *not* recommended. I had to grind a few dungeons and side quests to hit level 42 before really trying that.

I really enjoyed D2, but I didn't enjoy D3 nearly as much. D2 was actually one of the very first video games I played, next to Mario and Megaman X. D4 looks a little better than three, but the drawn graphics of two are really what I enjoyed the most about it. The lonely feelings that suddenly appearing in the Rogue Encampment evoke within you, the zombies slow yet inexorable approach as you enter the Blood Moore. The feeling of grim determination as you cross from the Durance of Hatred into the Pandemonium Fortress, on the border of Hell itself.

It actually still gives me nightmares.

Lately, I've been playing Black Desert Online, because the graphics are far and away better than anything else available. The landscapes at sunset in particular are incredibly realistic and inspiring. If anyone plays on PC, you should hit me up :)

If I ever get a chance to try D4, I'd want to play a Paladin like from D2, with the tower shield and flail. Socket them and put in runewords like 'Indestructible,' and 'Infinity.' Run around with my Sorceress friend.

Are people still playing this? Myself i have found that progress has slowed down a LOT. I don't play it as much as it just isn't as fun as the older games once you hit the post-campaign 'grinding' phase. I am used to it from all the previous games (i started with Diablo 1) but they have somehow sucked a lot of the fun out of it. Personally i think it is due to the level scaling but others may disagree

I have been playing a lot of Starfield instead of D4.
My oldest son has been playing that. He seems to enjoy it. I hear it's quite a vast game.
