My understanding is that the WNBA is barely viable.

That’s quite sad because the WNBA players play their hearts out every game. There are some players that are beasts and could hang with the men with no problem.

The Las Vegas Aces are quite a good team, having won 2 WNBA Championships.

Unfortunately the WNBA, like Brian says, are barely viable. Crying shame!!

Sidney Crosby is expected to miss at least a month due to a lower body injury, so bad news for the Penguins.  The Penguins also made a trade for Sam Girard and a 2028 2nd round pick while the Avalanche received Brett Kulak.

Eight games on the schedule today as the regular season resumes.  We will start to see how the long Olympic break impacts teams.  Sometimes a break like this helps teams get healthy and regroup and other times teams come out flat and struggle.

Is there a WNHL hockey like the WNBA is for the women’s basketball?!?

:-?

Actually there is a PWHL (Professional Women's Hockey League) with eight teams (4 in the USA and 4 in Canada).  Many of the players on both the US and Canadian rosters came from the PWHL.  Speaking of their gold medal, the Mayor of Denver just invited them all to Denver for a proper celebration, since they declined their SOTU invitation.

The Knights are back on the ice tonight to take on the Buffalo Sabres. This could be a pivotal part of the season. If the Knights lose and Ducks win, the Knights will no longer be in first place.

Both the Knights and the Ducks face tough opponents tonight. Buffalo is one of the hottest teams on the ice in the league. The Ducks take on the Avalanche, who have the best record in the entire league.

The Knights did just played the Kings last night. Knights may be tired. Knights will have to play without their captain, Mark Stone. Knights HC, Cassidy, said that Stone is currently day to day due to an upper body injury he sustained in Sunday’s game Shute Penguins.

Puck drop is set for 4:00pm in Buffalo. If they lose, they’ll have to watch and see the Ducks win, and that games goes off 7:00pm.

But you know, my Knights coming off of that 5 nothing shut out where they were on the losing end in Pittsburgh.

So, my Knights need to get things back in their winning ways.

GO KNIGHTS!!
