My Knights seem to be doing well this season. Maybe they can return to the Stanley Cup.

Knights find themselves in 1st place in the Pacific Division. They’re 3 games ahead the Kings. Knights have amassed 42 wins and 20 losses with only 20 games remaining in the season.

Knights are on a 3 win streak at home:

Bruins 0…Knights 5

Red Wings 3…Knights 6

Lightning 2…Knights 4

Knights face Wild on their ice today.

GO KNIGHTS!!

:)

The Wild hung around for most of the game but it got ugly in the last five minutes or so.  Knights win it 5-1.

My Blues are still on an absolute tear through the NHL.  After last night's 6-1 win over Montreal, they are on a SEVEN game winning streak.  They are firing on all cylinders, and I can't wait to see them play in person here in Denver this Saturday.

Alex Ovechkin is now at 889 goals, putting him six away from breaking Gretzky's record. The Capitals have 11 games left this season so breaking it by the end of the season is possible.  If not, he will break it early in the 25-26 season.  The Capitals are the only team in the East to have clinched a playoff spot, the Jets are the only team in the West to have also done so.

Now eight in a row.  The Blues had put themselves in good position with this late season run, currently five points ahead of Vancouver for the final playoff spot, only two points from moving up to the sixth position.

Right now, the one seed is basically locked up for Washington in the east, they have a 13-point lead, but all the other spots, including first overall, are still in play.  Winnipeg is top in the West (one point behind Washington for first overall), but Dallas is only four points back.

As of this post the current playoff seeds are this in the west: 1. Winnipeg 2. Vegas. 3. Dallas 4. Colorado 5. LA 6. Edmonton 7. Minnesota 8. St. Louis

In the east it is 1. Washington 2. Toronto 3. Carolina 4. Florida 5. Tampa Bay 6. New Jersey 7. Ottawa 8. Montreal but Detroit, Columbus, and the two NY teams are still in the hunt and any of them could make a run and get in.

Chicago, San Jose, and Nashville are the first three teams to be officially eliminated from the 2025 playoffs. The Sabers, Flyers, and Kraken will be eliminated soon also.

Several OT games on Friday with Florida beating Utah, Columbus beating Vancouver, and Ducks over Rangers.  Regulation game winners were Vegas, Carolina, and Winnipeg.

Seattle and Nashville now both eliminated.  Everyone in the east is still mathematically alive but not realistically.

It might be a fight to the end to see who gets the #1 overall seed.  Right now Winnipeg is at 106 and Washington at 103 points.  Eight games left for Winnipeg, nine of Washington.

The Blues stay hot winning nine in a row and it looks like they are going to get in, now six points up on Vancouver for the final spot.  The final spot in the east is a fight between the Canadians and Rangers, both 77 points, and Columbus is chasing at 75, so are Detroit and the NY Islanders at 74.

McDavid is expected to be back before the regular season ends.  He suffered an injury on March 20 and has not played since.

Ovi has put in goal #890, now four behind tying Gretzky. five more needed to break it.  He can add to his goal total on Tuesday when the Caps play Boston, or on Wednesday when they play against Carolina.

Wild get one standings point in a 3-2 SO loss to the Devils. Wild are trying to hold of the Blues and hang on to the 7th playoff seed but with how STL has played recently Minnesota is in danger of dropping to the 8th spot and having to face their current biggest rival, Winnipeg, in the opening round.  Both teams have not won a playoff series in a while so if the match up one of them will finally advance past the first round.  Looks like another first round exit is looming for Minnesota, even if they stay at seven, they would have to face Vegas.
