Radagast Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 The 4th toe on my right foot has been bothering me - specifically, when turning as the pivot foot during a side or roundhouse kick. It doesn't bother me during kata. It's not exactly pain - it just feels weird, but not a good weird as my natural instincts tell me to stop what I'm doing. I can't really describe the feeling though.I want to try taping it to see if that helps. Does anyone have any experience with this? Would I tape it to the 3rd toe or the 5th? 2nd and 3rd because those three often move together? Thanks
Fat Cobra Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 I would tape it to the 2nd and 3rd. Godan in Ryukyu KempoHead of the Shubu Kan Dojo in Watertown, NY(United Ryukyu Kempo Alliance)
sensei8 Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 I would tape it to the 2nd and 3rd.I agree wholeheartedly!! Oftentimes, taping is all one can do in your situation. I'd try to avoid doing anything that would exacerbated the problem.Good luck and hang in there, Radagast!! **Proof is on the floor!!!
