I like to "change" my workouts now and then ('specially now with a New Year coming up) ... I do weight train but time consuming for me so when saw this site I thought hmmm....

Has anyone ever worn a weighted vest to train in?

All this talk about weight training and training in the martial arts.... hey with this you can actually do both at same time.

Very expensive vests though!

Well I don't guess it is much differance than the army giving guys a 40lbs backpack to go run in. LOL.

Only thing that would worry me about wearing that vest and doing MA is the strain it may put on your back. Espically if the weight is not balanced.

With that said I have wore ankle weights and wrist weights like girls do in aerobic classes before to see if it would help. I had troulbe getting them to stay on however. LOL....

Actually I am making a weight vest (30 lbs), and I will tell you how it works out.

If you can't laugh at yourself, there's no point. No point in what, you might ask? there's just no point.

Many people seem to take Karate to get a Black Belt, rather than getting a Black Belt to learn Karate.

Those vests are expensive. He has nine different applications for the vest. I notice that he left out water polo.

I had to lose my mind to come to my senses.
