sicktwist Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Figured I should introduce myself to everyone here, so hello! I am a new practitioner of Isshinryu Karate. My son has been taking classes since last October and after switching my schedule around I have now been able to start classes as well. I have always had an interest in the martial arts through movies and video games, but never got around to seeking out a dojo. I am 29 years old and fairly athletic, though I am a bit out of shape and after my first class this last Tuesday I really felt it. I am sure after a few more weeks of classes and my own workouts at home I won't feel so old after class, but I sure wish I would've started on my martial arts journey much sooner in life. Anyway, thanks everyone to letting me join in the forum and soak up the knowledge offered from everyone here!
