The Pred Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 So people that teach classes, how many classes do you guys and gals teach? Are they kid classes, teenage classes, or adult classes? Or do you teach a mixture of both?I teach about thirteen, all the kid classes, though I will cover for adult classes if the instructor is not there. Teachers are always learning
Wastelander Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 I usually teach 3-5 classes a week, although I also assist here and there with some others. Mostly, I teach classes for kids, or all ages. sensei8 Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Whether it's in my dojo or at the Hombu, when I'm in house, I teach the majority of the classes for all ages and all ranks. If nothing else, rank, in this regards, does have its privileges . **Proof is on the floor!!!
Montana Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 For me, it would depend on what year you are referring to. I used to teach kids classes seperately from adults, but gave that up. I used to teach kids as young as 6, if they had the aptitude to actually learn, and not just be babysat.....lolIn the end though, I taught 3 classes/week, 2 hours each class. Ages 14+. I gave up teaching young kids because I wasn't in it for the money, and kids classes are TOUGH! lol If you don't want to stand behind our troops, please..feel free to stand in front of them.Student since January 1975---4th Dan, retired due to non-martial arts related injuries.
Nidan Melbourne Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Atm i teach 2 classes per week but the most i do is 4 or 5 classes when i teach more
tallgeese Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 I teach 4 adult BJJ classes per week. 2 PTK (kali) classes per week. One of our purple belts teaches the kids and we have another for the kickboxing and Muai Thai. Quite frankly, that's enough. http://alphajiujitsu.com/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJhRVuwbm__LwXPvFMReMww
