I really enjoyed "Into the Badlands" this past fall. Wondering what others thought of the first season. I thought the fight scenes of characters "Sunny" Daniel Wu and "The Widow" Emily Beecham were amazing! Although the setting in an apocalyptic future was a bit strange, it was great having a Martial Arts series on television again. I was a big fan of Kung Fu when I was growing up. The visual blood and gore depicted in the fight scenes of "Into the Badlands" leaves little to the imagination though and goes well beyond what I ever saw on "Kung Fu". I wonder how parents feel about letting their youngest watch it? Did you like the show? :) http://www.amc.com/shows/into-the-badlands

I watched the first season, you just need to keep in mind that what you're watching "martial art wise" is pretty much like the B movies that came out of China for years..fake and unrealistic.

Just watching it for entertainment is ok, just don't start thinking you can whoop-up on a dozen guys and come away in good shape! lol

If you don't want to stand behind our troops, please..feel free to stand in front of them.

Season 2 is on Netflix now.

I enjoy it. The martial arts a highly acrobatic and definitely made for the camera. To my inexperienced eyes, it looks like stylized superpowered kung fu of some form.

I watched most of the first season. Enough to form an opinion that the sword play is Hollywood fantasy and the rest was, well, boring.

A lot of dislike for this series in these forums, but I am not one of those!

I loved it!

Unrealistic...of course. Fun to watch, absolutely!

I love the world setting, the feudal lord type governmental structure, and, of course, the martial arts.

One of my top 3 favorite shows on TV today (along with Daredevil and Cobra Kai).

Yeah, I really like this show. The mythology grows as seasons progress, the fight scenes are incredible, characters are fun to watch. Yeah, it's a win. Just getting better by the season.
