Greetings,

I am not new to the martial arts, but it has been many years since I have trained. I am hoping to find a traditional Okinawan form of Karate. I would like to say that I am looking for martial arts for health, but truth be told I am not shure why I am drawn to it. I have always enjoyed training. About 20 years ago I trained in Shorin ryu Matsumura Seito (Fusei Kise's organization). It was fantastic. While in college I trained in Aikido for about 4 years. Then there was a 15 year drought when I took care of ailing parents, new children , etc. I am hoping to return to what I love traditional martial arts.

I have been reading this forum for about a month and have found it to be full of information, and the posts have been very respectful. Thank you in advance for all of your help.

Mike

Welcome to KF! It's great to have you, good luck on your search! My first system was also Matsumura Seito, who was your sensei?

Martial arts training is 30% classroom training, 70% solo training.
