Welcome to the forum, sultaanpk!

I'm afraid there are many different "world championships" for karate, because there are many different styles, organizations, and rulesets. We would really need to know that information before we could work on figuring out dates.

Welcome to the forum sultaanpk! May I ask which country you are located in?

Kyokushin is usually with the K1 World Champs.

I know there are the following World Championships

GKR World Championships - GKR = Go-Kan-Ryu

WKF World Championships = World Karate Federation (most well known and commonly seen)

JKA Championships

Goju-Ryu/Kai Championships

Kyokushin World Championships

Dates usually vary year to year.

The WKF (World Karate Federation) World Championships are as follows,

2015 Junior Worlds Jakarata, Indonesia - 12-15 November

2016 Senior Worlds Linz, Austria - 27-30 October.

Both events are run every 2nd year.

Wkf has the most number of participating countries with as many as 150 or more.
