Im not a morning person, but I'd like to start getting up earlier and train just so my day goes by a little better than it usually does. I was wondering how long a morning training sessoin should last, what kind of excercises I should do, and about how many reps are good to get you going...

Its hard to do but I used to lift at 7am for about 2 months. I felt so good durring the day. However as a month and then a few weeks went by I found it harder and harder to go early. That extra sleep just felt so good at the time. LOL Good luck.

I went about one hour.

I have and still do MA classes early on Saturday. Arround 9am and go to noon. I find this relaxing but at the same time when I am up Friday night I am constantly thinking man I got to go train in 7 hours. LOL....

Getting up earlier than you have to is tough. The biggest hurdle is getting out of bed. Good luck.

I had to lose my mind to come to my senses.

Amen to that. Getting up early is way hard. Come to think of it, It's only 7:30am and im still not awake yet  I know how you feel G95champ. I used to have classes that early too until they changed the times. Thank God for that! :D

AAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGHHHHHHHHHH Getting up early :kaioken:

I hate it and never tried to train at "small" hours :) I've heard from others that it would be a good idea, but my bed seem more attractive at those times :)

i train in the evening after being away from home hor 12 hours, hungry and exhausted. But it's still OK. I usually go home from karate revived and feeling better.

Maybe I'll try this getting up and training program. It would mean I'll have to go to bed earlier :)

I tried waking early today (it's a Saturday, and I know most of you are probably "Dear God!! Waking early on a Saturday!! Are you freaggin nuts!!" And believe me, Im beating myself up for doing it :D ) Anyway, I woke at 6 and decided to do a few standing leg stretches. As I went down to touch the floor with my hands I hadn't noticed I was very close to one of our counters. Of course, the dumb-@ss I am, I bashed me head on it, fell over to the floor and didn't wake up until 10:30 when my mom found me laying there on the floor. I don't know if it's the blow to the head or the extra hours of sleep I missed that just made me pass out till 10:30.All this to tell you...Im not waking early for training ever again!! It`s too painful
