hammer Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Just had a test, was hoping to get a blue stripe but went right from 10 Kyu to 8 Kyu (Orange to Blue belt). Was quite surprised, felt pretty good about many areas of the test but I had a lot of confusion on some of the forms being called out and I know I messed up on a few of them.Feel funny about getting a double promotion but I'm going on the assumption that my Sempai knows best. Nice part is that I can get started on learning a new kata (Pinan Ni). Already seeing similarities between the new form and Won Hyo but I know that the differences in techniques will cause some confusion for a while. All good.
