Nidan Melbourne Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 I just looked the two kata up on youtube and they are very interesting. Haven't seen them before, what style are they mainly found in?
sensei8 Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Shorinji Kenpo.A quite dynamic style across the board; effective. When I first heard about Shorinji Kenpo back in the 70's, I was drawn in their unique gi's, shortly thereafter, the effectiveness of that style made me look beyond it's unique gi. **Proof is on the floor!!!

andym Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 I believe the instructor Thomas Bennett, said that it is an original Peter Urban Kata. If you believe in an ideal. You don't own it ; it owns you.
