Who thinks they are a "tough mudder" then?

Yeah I like that video too, although I don't think the little bucket with a few ice cubes in it can prepare you for the shock of plunging into the big icy pool for real  My friend competed in this years Scottish one, I seen a video of her going through the obstacle with all the electric wires hanging down "electroshock therapy" I think it's called, she got buzzed by one of the wires and her legs buckled right from under her, she landed face first in the mud

Mo.

:spitlaugh:

Awesome its organized, legal ... torture!

Not done one of the Mudders but we as a club have done a couple of our local Wolf Runs: http://www.thewolfrun.com/

Loads of fun and a great team building exercise - last time we had 20 of us do it.

Make sure you do a load of climbing related training! Pull ups and grip strength etc. And be prepared to get really wet and really cold! Try dousing yourself with the hose and then go running

... I just realized something!

(I've had it said to me because of what I do 'for fun' and at my age to boot)

Were totally of out of our heads, with a dash of crazy mixed in for good measure!

... we (all of us by the way) consider all of this fun, and we (still all of us) actually go looking for more things like this crazy nuts'o stuff to do!

Our excuse ... its fun!

:o  :o

The Wolf Run looks cool, kinda like "extreme" cross country or something! ... less electrocution and torture involved it seems!

:rofl2:
