I was wondering about how you sooth the pain on the knees. Do you put ice packs or do you rub them with some anti-inflammatory cream or you just stretch them? Maybe it's all that!

Don't freak out about old injuries. You know what your body can handle in terms of exercise. i know your sensei will push you to work hard but you choose how well you do.

I have bad knees (even though i'm 22) and my sensei pushes me hard but he and i know that there are somethings that i can't do but i still try and do it anyway. If i can't i will vary it slightly to work.
