Jack Posted October 2, 2002 Posted October 2, 2002 Cardio in the morning before breakfast is the best time for fat-burning. The reason for this is that the glycogen which acts as fuels for the muscles and is stored in the muscles is not present since you have not eaten for eight or more hours, and so your body will use its next fuel source - fat.
