Harkon72
I'm not going to rant here; but Van Damm is one of the poorest role models in Martial Arts, just do some research. Norris wins hands down, being American must qualify him for greatness. Lol Look to the far mountain and see all.

jaypo
JCVD was my hero in my younger years until I found out about all of his demons. Chuck's body of work as well as his dedication to his faith and art makes him a better person, IMHO. But I still love JCVD's technique! Hand to hand, I'd lean towards Chuck. bushido_man96
I understand that he has a black belt in Judo, as well. I enjoyed watching both when I was younger, and still do. I'd probably lean towards Chuck. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

Patrick
I'm going to take a very dry approach to this. Since this is in General Chat and the videos are linked, I am going to take it as a question of these videos being compared to one another, eliminating all outside factors. For me, Van Damme wins because his video was first and is real. He did it on the first take. There were safety lines, but that's it. It was still him doing the split, in one take. The Norris clip is closer to a video game. From what I've read, I don't even think Norris was affiliated with it. It's like if you put Norris' face on Mario and play Super Mario Bros. It's not Norris jumping around, it's Mario. Just my thoughts.Patrick Patrick O'Keefe - KarateForums.com AdministratorHave a suggestion or a bit of feedback relating to KarateForums.com?
