Hawkmoon
My first school was a 5 miin walk from my flat, the dojo I go to now is a 10 min drive from my home. The furthest I have gone to train is about 25 miles for a 2 hr session. It was a Wado club worth it and fun but as I didn't own a car at the time getting to them was difficult and that soon dropped off. “A human life gains luster and strength only when it is polished and tempered.”Sosai Masutatsu Oyama (1923 - 1994) Founder of Kyokushin Karate. tallgeese
Right now I am a wonderful 5 min drive from my house. Prior to that I was about a 40 min drive. I'm pretty certain that's about as far as I've regularly driven, although I've done that a few times in my career. Back in college, we used to occassionally drive 1.5 hours to take privates in BJJ from a blue belt! quinteros1963
15 minutes45 is the longest but that was a few years ago The past is no more; the future is yet to come. Nothing exist except for the here and now. Our grand business is not to see what lies dimly at a distance, but to do what's clearly is clearly at hand...Lets continue to train! gronis
It takes 18 minutes by bus. I have to take 2 buses so ~5 of those minutes is waiting for bus nr 2. Biking might be faster so I will try that when spring arrives.
