wagnerk Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Just wondering (you may have mentioned it already), in 17 days time, is that when the next beginners class will start or is that when you are able to train (eg due to schedules)? Tang Soo Do: 3rd Dan '18Shotokan Karate: 2nd Dan '04
Safroot Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 Just wondering (you may have mentioned it already), in 17 days time, is that when the next beginners class will start or is that when you are able to train (eg due to schedules)? It's only because the dojo is closed till 16/01/2014 (Christmas & new year holidays) and there is only 2 adult classes held on Monday & Thursday but unfortunately because of my work shifts I will be able to attend only 1 of them. There is no beginners class and for this reason I have asked in another thread before how can I (no info about karate) train with others who are more experienced than me?I hope the instructor puts this in consideration during the training. wagnerk Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Sounds like there's no dedicated beginners class, but don't worry he/she will. After all that's one of the reasons why the kyu/dan ranking system was introduced and used Tang Soo Do: 3rd Dan '18Shotokan Karate: 2nd Dan '04
Safroot Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 Sounds like there's no dedicated beginners classYes there is no beginners classes. I was initially looking for a dojo doing special classes fro beginners but I couldn't find one Anyway I will give it a go. I have 3 free classes to try, hopefully it works for me "The Martial Arts begin with a point and end in a circle." Sosai Mas Oyama founder of Kyokushin Karate.
