Started in 1987 with Goju Ryu and got to 3rd Kyu in 1993, moved area and couldn't find another club so had a 15 year hiatus, started Wado Ryu in 2007 and got to 2nd Kyu, then moved again, couldn't find a Wado club so changed styles again in 2011 to Shotokan.

Its been a long old haul but the end of the tunnel is fast approaching!

Congrats! Let us know how everything went!

All the best with your test, you have nothing to prove but gaining the belt is nice. Good Luck.

Look to the far mountain and see all.

Congrats on your up and coming Shodan testing cycle. Better late than never, huh??

Btw, it's not the end of the tunnel, but it's the beginning of a new tunnel!!

Train hard, train well, relax, have fun, and allow the testing cycle take care of itself. You'll be fine!!

Accomplished!

Now I need to sleep lol

Thanks for all your replies guys

Well done!

It may take a few days to fully sink in and a few people think its an anti climax as you don't suddenly become a super MA due to a belt change.

You will (hopefully) start on advanced training and have a few more Kata to learn.

Well done DoctorQui  Best of luck for your results!

Well done.
