Nidan Melbourne Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Hey all. I'm planning on going overseas next year in particular America and the UK. Which cities should I visit? I also plan on training whilst travelling. If I do visit a city with one of your dojos, I would like to visit you guys and do a class. Thank you All if you can help me out. Liam
bushido_man96 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 You could come visit Hays, KS, but I think it might be a bit out of your way, and not exactly a "travel destination." https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
Harkon72 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 North Wales might be off the beaten track. If you visit London, check out Steve Rowe's Shikon Martial Arts Dojo, he's one of the best Sensei in the UK. Look to the far mountain and see all.
tallgeese Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 If you end up in Chicago let me know. I'm out in a far west suburb. http://alphajiujitsu.com/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJhRVuwbm__LwXPvFMReMww

JohnASE Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 I can't suggest a place to train, but if you're looking at the USA, I'm sure you're considering Los Angeles. Off the top of my head, we have Disneyland, Universal Studios, Knott's Berry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Gruaman's Chinese Theater, Rodeo Drive, the Getty Museum, Venice Beach, and the Santa Monica Pier, just to name a few attractions. It's less than an hour by plane to Las Vegas and less than 5 hours by car. The Strip at night is a sight to see! I'm sure everyone knows about the casinos, clubs, and shows. Much of it looks... fabricated, like Disneyland, but it's a very interesting place. If you want more specific info, feel free to ask! John - ASE Martial Arts Supplyhttps://www.asemartialarts.com

Haven't been to Vegas though. I'm glad i'm finally of the legal age to drink over there.
