Hi,

My name is Tony. I registered a while ago, but I don't recall introducing myself.

Anyway, I've been training for going on 30 years with the last 28 years in Okinawa Karate, specifically Chibana-ha Shorin Ryu by way of Nakazato sensei as well as Ryukyu kobudo.

I've also trained in BJJ for three years. There's more, but then it comes across as self serving.

Tony

Not at all, I studied Shorin Ryu and Okinawan Kobudo for the first part of my Martial Arts career. It was a good grounding, and I hope to build on it. You are very welcome, post, comment and enjoy.

Yes, I started Shukokai at Collage, I moved here when I was married, and the local Dojo teaches Shito ryu based Shukokai. Genius!

My Shorin Ryu was taught to my Sensei by Rikishi Oya in Okinawa in the 60's and 70's. Sensei Symmonds has now passed on, but my Shorin Ryu still comes out in my Karatedo.

Look to the far mountain and see all.
