Nidan Melbourne
I love doing bassai dai, however I'm not 100% on it yet, as soon as I get there kanku dai awaits me! Why do you love bassai dai?
Immotay
I don't know, maybe because its the first one I've learned with faster combos and technique variety. I just like it's swing, its also the one which provides me more fun. And I think its a beautiful kata.
Harkon72
There are two kata that I practice that are quite close to eachother in pattern and application; these are Matsukaze and Jurokeno, I especially like the end of Jurokeno with the techniques done in crane stance; the knockout strike to the jaw with the hammer fist is a favorite of mine. Another kata I like is Pinan Yondan; I like the combination of scalp grab, knee strike and elbow strikes at the end, smashing. Look to the far mountain and see all. RAM18
Chinto (Gankaku) is mine. it flows very nicely and can performed with strength and/or speed. That which does not kill us, must have missed us.- Miowara Tomoka
scohen.mma
Ananku from Matsubayashi Ryu. I just learned it and I love it! "Karate doesnt teach me to fight, it teaches me to solve my problems. Physically, mentally, and spiritually."
