bushido_man96 Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 That's pretty cool. I hope I'm still kicking when I'm 84! Congrats to her! https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
mal103 Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 I hear every other week how someone is "too old" or has got bad knees or a dodgy back. My Sensei helped someone train in a wheel chair with back problems, it sounds corny but it helped get them out of the chair, we heard on Friday that they are still training and about to go for Nidan.Age should not be a factor.
sensei8 Posted July 3, 2013 Author Posted July 3, 2013 That's pretty cool. I hope I'm still kicking when I'm 84! Congrats to her! I'm hoping that I'm still doing anything at 84; breathing and walking are at the top of my list. **Proof is on the floor!!!

andym Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Brilliant ! My admiration and congratulations to this wonderful lady. If you believe in an ideal. You don't own it ; it owns you.
bassaiguy Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Wonderful! I may never test again (because of politics, not desire), but I hope I'm still training when I've gone old and gray(er). "Honour, not honours." ~ Sir Richard Francis Burtonhttp://oronokarate.weebly.com
JGarner890 Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 That's awesome!I agree, I hope I'm still "kicking" when I'm that age!!! Congrats to her! Perfect Practice makes Perfect.
