mal103
We've got a summer camp in August but went to see where it was today, had a great laugh looking about and did a trial run of training on Bournemouth beech this morning.Luckily all of the stones have round edges.... Harkon72
I've done some beech training, just watch how cold the sand is! Look to the far mountain and see all.
Nevinyrral
Beech training is fun until it gets to sparrig. Its ot nice when someone kicks sand in your eyes, and mostly its even unintentional A style is just a name.
DWx
Running on the beach is the worst. Can't get any "push" off and it just saps your legs. "Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it." ~ Confucius
Wastelander
The only time I've ever trained on a beach was on a trip to Hawaii, and I discovered that there are random chunks of coral and volcanic rock hidden in the sand that will attack you. Also, salt water has a unique stink to it when it soaks a sweaty gi! bushido_man96
Uggh, sounds like some obscene, yet fun, form of punishment. Kudos to you, Danielle. I probably would have puked half-way up, if I could make it that far. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
Nidan Melbourne
i love beach training. As hard as it is it works you so much better than in the dojo - as it forces you to be more aware your body is in space (for you smart people it is proprioception) and your body will become so much stronger from it
