I honestly have two favorites. First is the kimura my reasoning is that I can get the grip from the bottom and use it to first sweep and then submit. Or I can get it standing and use it to throw then submit. I find this to be one of the easiest grips for me to get. Second is the arm bar. You can hit it from the top, bottom, side and so on. So lets hear it on this one guys.Mine are the same. I like the Kimura...no...I love the Kimura. I seem to hit it from anywhere. The armbar is a beautiful flow from the kimura gripset, so I love that too. Close second, however, is the cross choke. "It is impossible to make anything foolproof because fools are so ingenius." It's one of those subs that so often gets the "basic" label but become so technical at higher levels of work with such infinite variations and subtle points that it's just amazing.Number two goes to, yup.....the kimura. But, I'm truly in love with any joint manipulation because, for me, they don't require a lot of set up and the like. **Proof is on the floor!!! As a second one, wrist compression like the goose neck hold we use as our escort walk. I am terrible with Japanese terminology for locks and throws most of the time. Can't you tell?
