Lupin1 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 It's roughly 300 calories. Just to burn off what you ate the average person would have to run 6 mph for 20 minutes (10 min mile pace) to burn off those calories alone. Something I keep in mind when I think about splurging on my non cheat meal days.Keep in mind, too, that calories in/calories out isn't a nice little formula. When we eat a lot of calories, our metabolism is boosted as well to compensate for a lot of it (depending a lot on the quality of the extra calories consumed). That's obviously not a license to gorge ourselves on cake (again-- the quality matters), but it's not a perfect little equation that doing this much exercise will burn this number of calories every time and that this exact number of extra will produce this exact amount of weight gain... Doesn't really work that way.
Kuma Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 I understand that Lupin1, that's just my approach into fighting off unnecessary temptation.
