been waiting and waiting for the new season and sunday there back..this is by far my favorite show.anybody else love "this thing of ours?"

I don't see what all the hype is about. The season premiere was incredibly stupid. I'm glad I wasn't waiting forever, because I would have felt very let down.

 

The Sopranos is extremely juvenile. They love the fact that they can show sex, violence, language, whatever, because it's HBO and they don't censor. The rest of my family watches it (still don't know why), and I've given it a few chances, but every time I watch it, it's yet another boring and stupid episode.

 

Perhaps someone can explain to me why it's sooooo great.

 

Oh, and please don't take offense at this, if you like it, you do and that's fine. I personally can't stand it, but that's my own opinion.

well its kinda like a mob soap opera..you cant get the whole story if you just watch it a few episodes..you start to identify with the caracthers and you have like three different story lines going on each show..the way its put togethere i feel is brilliant..from the writing to the music..its both serious and funny with a perfect balance

... unfortunately don't have HBO (way too expensive in our area to get the cable pkg. ... we have "basic" which includes MTV god forbid we don't get that!!)

 

But I have seen it and it is one show I can totally get wrapped up in (being Italian and all! )...

 

My mom is a fan and I believe is getting the video library so that is one way to familiarize yourselves with the show.
