What is your favorite kata

Featured Replies

My favorite kata is taikyuku shodan godan heain shodan nidan yondan and go dan and tekki shodan basai dai unsu etc

I love Shotokan Karate Do and American Kenpo Karate

My Favorite Kata is Bassai Dai, Storm the Fortress!

Look to the far mountain and see all.

I only just started learning it, but I'm really liking Chinto (well, I started it over two years ago, but I haven't really been to class much in that time, so I've mostly been working on little pieces on my own). I like the angled stances and spins. It's fun.

Wankan

:)

I remember you showing me Wankan, Bob. Good fun. I think I still remember Naifanchi, too. When my arm gets better, I'll be reviewing and practicing it with more zeal once again. :)

Jissen Dai kata is my favourite along with Goshin Dai Kata.

Traditional is between Bassai Kata and Chil Sun Ee Ro Hyung

Yes...good fun. I'm quite sure that you remember Naifanchi and that you'll rock and roll it with a lot of umph.

:)
