For this fall, most common mistake is not keeping your chin close to your chest...They ALL hit their heads on the mat. lol Knowing others is intelligence, knowing yourself is true wisdom. Nidan Melbourne Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 For us teaching students how to fall we get them to start crouching and then backwards with them slapping at the correct time. and also making sure that they keep their chin tucked in. Once they are comfortable with that we get them to go from a standing start and begin falling from there.
