Post your weapons and give your opinion

I was wondering if people would like to put picks of there karate weapons up and give a review and opinion of the weapon. I am going to be doing mine sometimes and plan on making a few you tube review videos.

I was actualy curious about kama and sai the most. I am going to start training with both and want an idea of which weapons are good to buy. Also I want to train with heavy comfortable weapons.

i've been collecting weapons for over 15 years. Have most of them.

Regarding which one to buy to practice....well, get to try them all at your dojo and you'll see what you like etc... They are all very different so...

Still the most common first weapon to train with is the bo (bong).

I have 2 pairs of Nunchakus, a light and a heavy pair.

In my Dojo we don't practice weapons at all, however I do wish to train with them and I am considering to do Heian Yondan with Nunchakus.

Just waiting for my Dojo to open from holidays so that I finally get back to class and be taught this Kata.

I love training with the Bo, it's strong and it's circular movements are fluid and concise.

I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.

Okinawan Pattern Nunchaku are my favorite weapon, octagonal, oak with a cord.

I have an Issin Ryu White Oak Bokken too, it's a heavy training type and very strong.

I also have several daggers and Tanto, my favorite is my Ronin Drop Point Assassin's blade.

Look to the far mountain and see all.
